Q1.Is there any scholarship In Hunan University of Chinese Medicine for MBBS Program?
There is NO Schorarhip in Hunan University of Chinese Medicine because hunan Medical University if enrolling the Students on self Finance Basis not on Scholarship.Because for Schoraship MOE china gives jw201 ( Invitation letter of Scholarship ) and for Self finance it is Jw202. If any one Says about the Scholarship in Hunan Medical University then ask him/her for JW201 .
Hunan University of Chinese Medicine having provincial Govt Scholarship for the Talented students at the end of every year and this Scholarship is only for the Bright and Shining students that are Position holders in the Class. And this Scholarship is from 3000 RMB to 15000 RMB per Student. Except this Scholarship there is No kind of Scholarship in Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. So beware from the Fake agents and from the Fake information.

All the students must know that no university in China offers any scholarship to any student directly, though there are lot of scholarships offered every year. The time of application for these scholarships are during Jan-Mar every year. Scholarships winner can then join the course in September session. But, these scholarships are all under the control of government of China and are offered either through the embassy of China, Ministry of education of Pakistan, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan or Pakistan embassy in Beijing. All interested students are advised to visit “China Scholarships Council” on their web site (can be searched on google) for proper guidance. Please do not listen to any agent or consultant who is offering any direct scholarship. Real scholarships are really good and genuine and includes total free education plus a stipend monthly in which a student can live very well. Q2. What is the Course Duration in Hunan University of Chinese Medicine for MBBS Program?
Hunan University of Chinese Medicine is the Government university in Hunan University of Chinese Medicine which awards MBBS Degree after 6 years (1+5) in which 1st year is of Chinese Language Preppy with Medicine subjects and after clearing HSK Level 4 in the last of 1st year University Promotes students in MBBS Major with 5 years study and Internship in Which 4 years Clinical Study and 1 year of  years of Internship (4+1). This is a new Rule by Hunan Education Government (MOE Hunan)for Foreign Students those wants to study MBBS in any University of Hunan Province.This Rule will be Followed by all Universities in Hunan Province like Changhsa Medical College , Hunan Normal University , Central South University , University of South China and Other all Universities those have MBBS Program.
Why Course Duration was 5 years for MBBS till 2013 and why after 2013 it is 6 years (1+5) ??
This is the New Rule generated  by Provincial Government of Hunan to make it more better for students. this is reality that before 2013  in Hunan university of Chinese Medicine Course Duration was 5 years of MBBS in Total including Clinical study and Internship. but in March 2014 Ministry of Education China make a new policy for foreign Students those wants to MBBS study in Hunan Province that student Must Pass HSK Level 4 in 1st year and after that Duration of MBBS Degree (5 years) will be Started.
1st year : More Concentration on Chinese Language Subjects with Medicine Subjects after Clearing HSK Level 4 ( Chinese Proficiency Test ) Starts
2nd year to 5th year: MBBS Program Start with Proper Medicine Subjects this year will Count as 1st year of Medicine (MBBS)
6th year : This is Internship year which will be 5th year of MBBS


Q3. What about the status of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine in PMDC?
Hunan University of Chinese Medicine is listed in the list of Provincial Ministry of Education (MoE) China & WHO  and according to PM&DC Rules students can get NOC from PM&DC . there is no Problem at all. also Students are valid for USMLE , PLAB , and all other medical Councils and Hunan University of Chinese medicine is Recognized by World health organization(WHO).from Hunan university of Chinese Medicine TWO batches of Pakistani Students from MBBS Major are graduated and Better number of students have been passed PMDC Exam in 1st attempt..


Q4. PMDC has asked to get NoC before going abroad for medical studies, can you elaborate the process?
Any student wants to go abroad for medical studies in any government owned, authenticated university, listed with WHO, must get a NOC from PM&DC. The aim of issuance of this NOC is two folded, viz. 1. The University in which the student is going to study MBBS is a listed in IMED or WHO and is recognized in its own country. HUCM is a government owned, listed university with Provincial MOE of China and WHO. Degrees are issued by central government of China. 2. The student must be having 50% or more marks in his or her Fsc (Pre-medical) or (10+2). For the NOC, all students must fill a form available from PM&DC. Attested copies of following documents must be attached with the form:


Q5. What documents are needed for visa application?
Following documents are needed to apply for the visa at Chinese Embassy:

A valid passport for at least a year
2 colored passport size photographs
Visa application form (can be downloaded from this site) properly filled
JW 202 visa invitation letter from the university (will be provided by the consultant after admission is confirmed)
Admission letter from the University (Provided by the consultant)
Photocopies of all these documents


Q6. What type of medical certificate is required for admission and hence visa?
For admission and hence visa process a special type of medical certificate is needed. This medical certificate can only be obtained from a government hospital. One has to go to a medical officer or above personnel to advise you three blood tests including for HIV, HBV and HCV. After doing these tests, the doctor has to write a report about the test and general physical condition of the student – declaring him or her as fit to study abroad on an official letterhead belonging to the government hospital. Doctor should be asked not only to sign it but stamp the certificate. The same certificate must be then countersigned and stamped by the MS or DMS of the hospital to attest the signature and stamp of the doctor. This certificate then be attested and verified by the foreign office located in all big cities of Pakistan. Without this attestation a medical certificate can’t be presented in embassy.
